Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival Delhi

Meeting and assistance at New Delhi airport. Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay. Time permitting, brief interaction with trip leader.

Day 2 | Delhi

At 6.30 AM drive to Sultanpur bird sanctuary. Explore the various species of migrated birds like brook's leaf walber, Indian courser, sarus, black necked crane, Indian spotted eagle, baikal teal and more. Return to Hotel. Afterwards visit Chandni chowk, visit the sikh tempe. Drive past presidential estate and other government buildings, photo stop at India gate. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 | Delhi - Agra - Bharatpur

Drive to Bharatpur (280 Kms / 06hours) Check out from the Hotel at 7 AM and drive to Okhla bird sanctuary. Visit the bird sanctuary and you will spot birds like striated babbler, white tailed stonechat, striated grass bird, sarus, greater flamingo. Continue drive to Agra. Visit Taj mahal and Agra fort. Drive to Bharatpur for overnight stay.

Day 4 | Bharatpur

Morning and afternoon visits to Bharatpur national park on Rickshaw. Some of the uncommomn species found in the bharatpur national park are Jungle Bush-Quail, Marbled Teal, Greater white-fronted Goose, Common Shelduck, Mallard, Baikal teal, Greater Scaup and European roller.

Day 5 | Bharatpur - Kalakho - Vanaashraya

Drive to Vanaashraya and make a stop at Kalakho (200 Kms / 4.5 hours). Visit the organic farm and dairy farm. Spot the bird species in Kalakho and few of the species found in Kalakho are Grey partridge, Lapwing, Sand Grouse, wood pecker, Indian Weaver Bird, Humming Bird, Mineuvets and Painted Spur Fowl. Lunch at Umaid lake palace. Continue drive to Vanaashraya.

Day 6 | Vanaashraya

Morning game drive in Sariska national park for bird watching. Explore other flora and fauna of national park. Among the commonly sighted birds at the Sariska national park are oriental White-eye, Small Buttonquail, Black Ibis, Lesser Whitethroat, Eurasian Spoonbill, Barn Owl, Common Hoopoe, Jungle Babbler and Tawny-bellied Babbler. In the afternoon take a village walk and visit a local school.

Day 7 | Vanaashraya - Ranthambore

Drive to Ranthambore (170 Kms / 04 hours). Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national park in Northern India. Being considered as one of the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, today the Ranthambore National Park terrain is major wildlife tourist attraction spot that has pulled the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers to this destination.

Day 8 | Ranthambore

Morning and evening game drives in Ranthambore national park. In Ranthambore one can see black stork, glossy ibis, Savannah nightjar, great thicknee and Indian Courser. Apart from birdwatching, chances of spotting a tiger are also high.

Day 9 | Ranthambore - Kumbhalgarh

Drive to Kumbhalgarh (380 Kms / 08 hours). It will be a long drive today. Start early in the morning. Make enroute stops in the countryside for stretching legs, lunch and tea. break.

Day 10 | Kumbhalgarh

Make an excursion to Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary to explore the birds. Few of the bird species found in kumbhalgarh are Changeable Hawk Eagle, Scaly Breasted Munia, Grey Junglefowl, Indian Scoops Owl and Plum headed Parakeet. In the afternoon, relax by the pool of The Aodhi.

Day 11 | Kumbhalgarh - Narlai

Drive to Narlai (65 Kms / 02 hours). A beautiful retreat in the countryside. Visit Ranakpur enroute. In the afternoon visit the Selli Dam - A short drive away from Narlai, The dam is home to many species of birds.

Day 12 | Narlai

Today you will have the opportunity to explore Narlai village and opportunity to interact with locals. You may make a visit to the nearby temple.

Day 13 | Narlai - Manvar

Drive to manvar (240 Kms / 05 hours) and check in at the desert resort. Manvar - an area far, far away from the sounds and sights of urban chaos and closer to the captivating quietude of rural Rajasthan.

Day 14 | Excursion to Khichan

Make an excursion to Khichan village (70 Kms one way / 1.5 hours)- The village is known for a large number of demoiselle cranes that visit here every winter.

Day 15 | Manvar - Jodhpur

Drive to Jodhpur (160 Kms / 03 hours). Make a visit the imposing Mehrangarh fort - perhaps the most magnificent fort in Rajasthan. Also visit Jaswantthada. Make a visit to the local market of Jodhpur.

Day 16 | Jodhpur - Delhi and Leave Delhi

Transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi (6E 2203 / 1230 - 1345 HRS). On arrival, change your flight for UK.
