Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrive Cochin
Upon leaving the aircraft at Cochin International Airport, follow the signs for passport control and
baggage collection. Complete the immigration formalities, collect your checked luggage, and clear
customs.
Then proceed to the arrival area and you will be greeted by our company representative and
assisted with transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 | Cochin
Enjoy sightseeing in Cochin, exploring its rich colonial heritage and cultural landmarks such as Fort
Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jew Town, and the iconic Chinese fishing nets.
Return to your hotel and you can try massages and treatments for everything from beauty and
toning to rejuvenation and stress, all based on India's ancient healing art of Ayurveda.
In the late afternoon, attend a captivating performance of Kathakali, Kerala’s classical dance-drama,
known for its elaborate costumes and expressive storytelling.
In the evening, enjoy your sea food at terrace grill restaurant.

Day 3 | Cochin – Periyar (140 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive from Cochin to Periyar (Thekkady), a scenic journey of approximately 4–5
hours through lush green landscapes, spice plantations, and rolling hills. Upon arrival, check in to
your hotel. In the afternoon, you may choose to explore a spice plantation, enjoy a nature walk, or
simply relax amidst the serene surroundings of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Spice Village's master chefs share some of their skills with you at the evening cookery classes. Here
you will learn the secrets of traditional Kerala cooking. And of course, you will enter the magical
world of Indian spices.

Day 4 | Periyar
Enjoy a full day in Periyar (Thekkady), beginning with an optional early morning boat ride on Periyar
Lake, where you may spot wildlife such as elephants, bison, and various bird species along the
forested shoreline.
Later, visit a spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s rich spice heritage, followed by a guided nature
walk or bamboo rafting experience through the Periyar Tiger Reserve (optional).
You may also explore the local market or attend a Kalaripayattu (traditional martial arts) or cultural
dance performance in the evening.

Day 5 | Periyar – Vagamon
Enjoy a herbal massage or take a therapy before leaving for Vagamon.
Drive to Vagamon (approx. 2–3 hours), a tranquil hill station known for its lush meadows, pine
forests, and serene atmosphere. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at
leisure, soaking in the peaceful natural surroundings.

Day 7 | Vagamon – Kumarakom
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (approx. 3.5–4.5 hours), a peaceful village set on the banks of
Vembanad Lake, known for its tranquil backwaters, lush landscapes, and bird sanctuary. Upon
arrival, check in to your retreat and relax by the lake, enjoying the serene surroundings.
In the afternoon, enjoy an immersive cooking class at Philipkutty’s Farm, a family-run backwater
homestay known for its warm hospitality and authentic Kerala cuisine. Learn the nuances of
traditional Syrian Christian dishes and other local specialties using fresh, homegrown ingredients.
This hands-on experience offers a deeper connection to Kerala’s culinary heritage in a beautiful,
serene setting.

Day 8 | Kumarakom
Enjoy a leisurely day in Kumarakom. Visit the famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to a variety
of migratory and local bird species. You may also take a sunset cruise or a private backwater cruise
on a traditional houseboat through the serene canals and lagoons of the Vembanad Lake.
Optional experiences include visit the Ayurvedic Centre opposite the property for a consultation,
village walks, or simply relaxing.

Day 9 | Kumarakom – Cochin
After breakfast, check out and drive to Cochin (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours). On arrival, proceed to your
hotel, Rest of the day you may enjoy some last-minute sightseeing or shopping in cochin or You can
try massages and treatments for everything from beauty and toning to rejuvenation and stress, all
based on India's ancient healing art of Ayurveda.
Enjoy great food at dusk with a view of the Arabian sea.

Day 10 | Leave Cochin
You will have a private transfer to Cochin International Airport for your onward flight.
